This audio file contains two brief segments. The first segment was recorded using a Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 USB microphone. The second segment was recorded using a Windows Mobile 6 Pocket PC with automatic audio gain turned on. Both were recorded in the same room with a large Voronado fan turned on to simulate a noisy environment. The purpose of this test is to help determine if a Pocket PC or Smartphone could be used as an audio recording device to create a podcast.
